1. Where is After Dark?

After Dark is at Don Valley Grass Bowl which is situated behind the Ice Sheffield Building and The Sheffield Arena.  Ice Sheffield is situated on Coleridge Road just off Attercliffe Common, Sheffield, S9 5DA.

You can park in the Arena Car Park, usual charges apply, and walk straight into the event. Public transport is also available, please see Question 8 for details.

3. What time is After Dark?

-       After Dark opens at 5.30 pm

-       The Real Radio stage begins at 6.30pm

-       The bonfire is lit at 7.00pm

-       The fireworks start at 8.45pm

-       After Dark closes at 10.00pm

4. How much are tickets to After Dark?

-       Adult £10 (14+) until 4 pm on the event day. 

-       Children (4 – 13 years) £5 until 4 pm on the event day. 

-       Children 3 years and under go free!

6. Where can I buy After Dark tickets prior to the event day?

7. Can I purchase tickets on the night?

Yes. Tickets are available from:

Ice Sheffield Entrance

From 5.30pm when paying by cash only.

8. How can I get to After dark?

By Tram – Take the Yellow tram towards Meadowhall. Get off the tram at the Don Valley Stadium/Sheffield Arena Tram Stop. Stewards will be located at the tram stop to direct you towards the event.

By Bus – iceSheffield is on the number 69 bus service from Sheffield city centre. The Bus stop is situated just outside iceSheffield. Please check details and times on the travel website: www.travelsouthyorkshire.com or call their Travel Line on 01709 51 51 51.

By Car – Car parking is available at the Arena car park. Usual charges apply.

9. Can I bring any fireworks/ sparklers to After Dark?

NO FIREWORKS OR SPARKLERS TO BE BROUGHT INTO AFTER DARK.

FIREWORKS OR SPARKLERS WILL BE CONFISCATED AT THE GATE.

10. Am I allowed to bring alcohol?

ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED WITHIN THE ARENA.

NO ALCOHOL TO BE BROUGHT ON SITE.

11. Will there be a bar?

There is a bar located inside Ice Sheffield. Drinks will not be allowed outside the bar area.

12. Will there be food available at After Dark?

A variety of caterers will be attending this years’ After Dark.

13. Is there Funfair?

Yes. Funfair games and rides are paid for separately.

14. What Acts will be performing on stage?

Acts will be confirmed nearer the event day.

15. Where are the nearest cash machines?

There will be cash machines located inside the After Dark Arena.  There will be cash machines located around Terry Street close to Arena Box Office.

16. Will there be disabled access?

The site is accessible and disabled toilets are provided. Please be aware that the majority of the event is on grass.

17. What other facilities are available?

Toilets, Lost Children, Lost Property and First Aid are available on site.
