Each year in our home city of Sheffield we organise two of Sheffield’s biggest autumn events – Fright Night and After Dark.
Always staged on the Sunday before Halloween (Sunday 27th October 2013 – 3.30pm until 8.30pm), we close the roads in Sheffield City Centre around Fargate, Tudor Square, Barkers Pool, Peace Gardens, Surrey Street, Leopold Street, Orchard Square, Millennium Square & Winter Gardens for this ‘mass promenade’ Halloween carnival. It is Sheffield’s largest community event and organised in partnership with Sheffield City Council.
Earlier in the day for the Little ones Fright Night’s Little Brother takes place on the Moor in Sheffield City Centre between 12noon – 3pm.
Each year on the 5th of November the event plays host to up to 20,000 spectators. The show includes: giant fun fair, a bonfire, food stalls, a live music stage with Real Radio and of course the legendary fireworks display set to music!
